Mr. Zhu and his family invited us to visit two villages in Foshan, a day I will never forget.  Foshan is a large, manufacturing city right next to Guangzhou.  It’s also famous for wu shu and being the home of Wong Fei Hong.  Within the city, some old villages have been preserved.  We went to one famous for its canals and another for its ceramics.  I also got to experience my first real Chinese drinking banquet.
